This year's TASN Industry Seminar was a great networking experience! I had the opportunity to visit with a few of our customers as well as meet some new friends.

I had the pleasure of sitting with Klein ISD for dinner and they told me about they started to use mobile tablets for breakfast in the hallways. It was also great catching up with Diane Dahm from College Station and Debbie Middleton from Pampa ISD.

One of the Breakout Sessions was about Mega Lunch. It is becoming popular with administrators and several districts in Texas have already implemented it. Instead of having multiple lunch periods, they have created a single lunch period for the whole school. Jamal Hazzan, of Klein ISD did a presentation on Smart Snacks and ala carte sales.
